Rainy Day Kits
Introducing our Rainy-Day Kits: a comforting self-care backpack that empowers and provides support. These are specially curated kits tailored to the unique needs of various age groups. Each kit has items to offer reassurance, comfort and encourage healthy coping habits and self-expression. After it Rains aims to empower young minds to weather the storm and emerge stronger. We understand the profound impact addiction has on families, especially the youth. Each kit is crafted with empathy, and we hope to provide a reminder that even on the stormiest days, they are not alone.
What’s Inside?
Inside every bag is a water bottle, healthy snacks, a pencil, The Five Minute Journal, a toothbrush, travel toothpaste, a comb, motivational stickers, some fidgets, and a handmade encouraging letter, as well as some other comfort items.
Ages 6-11
Inside these kits we have crayons, little coloring books, and a special teddy bear for comfort.
Ages 12-14
Inside these kits we’ve added sketch books, colored pencils, pencil sharpener, a pen baby wipes, deodorant, and a mini hygiene kit that includes tweezers and a manicure set. For those that need it we will include menstrual products as well.
Ages 15-18
This kit added a different Five Minute Journal geared towards and older group, a sketch book, colored pencils, pencil sharpener, a pen, deodorant, baby wipes, a hygiene kit that includes tweezers and a manicure set. We offer menstrual products in this bag as well.
